Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need an event planner?
Hiring an event planner gives you access to expert advise, helpful resources, and help navigating the stressful process. At Creations By Mercy, you get seamless planning with no added stress.
How do you charge for services?
All packages have a minimum base rate. Factors taken in to consideration for increased rates include extra hours of service, additional services not included in event package, and number of guests. Rates for services will always be discussed during initial consultation and there are no hidden fees or additional charges after services are rendered.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are not refundable if client cancels contract. If for any reason Creations By Mercy cancels a contract refunds will be issued.
Do you have event insurance?
Yes, Creations By Mercy is insured.
What happens if I have an emergency and need to change my event date?
If the date is available, we will gladly change the date at no additional fee if within the same calendar year as your initial booking date. If new date is in a new calendar year a 15% rate increase will be applied to your contract.
Do you have references?
Yes, we can provide references from past clients.
